BioI like to think of myself as a fun guy. I have a good time when people are having fun around me. If there's a party, I'm usually the guy who checks up on everyone, fixes drinks, runs out for ice and usually wards off the cops when things get out of hand. What can I say? I'm devoted to my friends and family!
I work in IT as a Storage Administrator, a fancy name for a guy who manages large computer storage systems. I love my job at the University of Michigan and wouldn't trade it for the world. Since I'm so "plugged in", I spend a good chunk of time online. I'm also the permanent "family IT guy", not that I mind (too much)...
I am a former anime junkie; I don't watch anywhere near as much as I used to. I enjoy a lot of the old school stuff (City Hunter, Bubblegum Crisis, Akira) and all of the Studio Ghibli movies. I gravitate toward mecha and sci-fi shows mostly, but I also enjoy a good high school drama. Shows like Gunparade March and Full Metal Panic have the perfect mix of both! I watch a few Japanese TV shows - J-dorama, sentai shows and so on. I used to go to at least two anime conventions every year, but I think I'm done with cons for a while. Plus, my sewing skills lack, so I only cosplay if someone else makes it for me!
Live is looking pretty good for me!
